  • Clients should not tan or use any means to darken their natural pigment before, after, or during their course of treatment.
  • No sun for at least 2 weeks before or after Laser, or IPL procedure.
  •  No Accutane for at least Six months before any Laser procedure.
  •  Retin-A, Glycolic, and Alpha Hydroxy clients must subside use for 1week prior to procedure.
  • No one who is currently pregnant . 
  • No one with a history of seizures.
  •  Areas should be shaved one to two days prior to procedure. Some hair is useful to determine areas to be treated.
  •  Hair will take 7 - 21 days to fall out.
  • On average 25% of the hair is reduced per treatment.
  •  Treatments should be scheduled every 4 -10 weeks depending on area treated.
  •  SPF 30 or greater should be worn immediately after treatment and during sun exposure for the next 7 -14 days.
  •  Use Gentle Cleanser for the first week, nothing containing Retinol or AHA’s.
  •  Gentle Moisturizer should be used twice a day.
  •  Hair will have stiff feel post-treatment until falling out or being removed.  Continue shaving as normal or you may wax 48 hours after treatment.
  •  Patients may experience hot sensation for 1 – 2 hours after treatment.  This may be relieved with ice packs and Advil.
  •  Hydrocortisone CREAM 1% may relieve redness associated with treatment and also provide some relief from heat.
  •  Redness is temporary and should last only one day.
  •  Sensation is similar to a gentle snapping of a rubber band with some mild heat.
  •  Patients may experience some discomfort, but treatment is not usually thought of as painful.
  •  Do not wax, tweeze, or thread 2 weeks prior to laser hair removal procedure.
  •  No peeling, picking or scratching treated areas, scarring may result.
  •  Microdermabrasion may be performed 7 -10 days after Photo-Facial.
